Saturday . We just watched DVD in the late morning and went to SM that night to shop for my Ate’s requests.

Sunday. A perfect summer day. As we dine outside the house to catch a tinge of summer breeze, I saw the clear cloudless sky above. It is visually enticing for a summer outing and I am so looking forward to one. Aaargh!

That night, we went to Irvin’s aunt and our godmother at Julugan. We enjoyed the food and the company - Kishie, Bea and Rapper JA. We were all laughing so hard as the kids sang, danced and breakdanced.

Got myself a new phone!

After 4 (or 5 pa nga yata) years, my jurassic Nokia 6___ (see, I forgot the model...I have to ask Irvin pa) had been replaced by Nokia E71 last Sunday. For the record, this is my 4th phone since college (1st - Nokia 3310, 2nd - Nokia 7650). Well, nothing special naman with this phone...excited lang dahil bago at minsan lang ako gumawa ng large purchases for myself (minsan, naiiyak pa ako 'pag gumagastos ako ng malaki kahit para sa sarili ko naman 'yon).

Ate: Neng, e di wala na 'yan sa choices ng ipapadala ko sa 'yo? DSLR na lang or laptop? (Oo, Ate. Ayaw na kitang pahirapan mag-isip kaya in-eliminate ko na 'yung isa mong pagpipilian.)

Ako: 'Nay, may sasabihin ako...
Nanay: Buntis ka na ulit?
Ako: Nyeh! Hindi no...bumili ako ng bagong cellphone!
Nanay: Aaaah...

So excuse me, magsasanay pa ko maging touch textist sa full keyboard na phone.

Another uneventful and peaceful weekend at home. But being with Irvin makes it special. Aaaw! *Kilig!*

Sunday. We attended the Palm Sunday mass that afternoon and watch the Eraserheads reunion concert that night (where I saw one of my colleagues). Cool!

Well, it really is summer! The weather is scorching hot, the sky is cloudless and my mind is filled with visions of beaches. Too bad, no plans yet for the Estacion family (buti na lang I'll be back in the office before the scheduled team bonding). Buti pa si Irvin, nakapag-Batangas na last Wednesday lang. Haaay, kakainggit.

So ano'ng pinagkakaabalahan ng isang katulad ko na alila ng 8-to-5 (na madalas ay hindi naman talaga 5, hehehe) na trabaho na sandaling nagbakasyon para makapagpahinga at muling sumabak sa mga dagok ng buhay at hanapbuhay?

Hmmm...ano nga ba?

1. Makinig ng mga interesanteng balita. At ilan sa mga pinagtuunan ko ng pansin ay ang sumusunod: (a) ang pagbaligtad ni Nicole sa pamosong Subic Rape Case, haaay parang nakakahiya lang na after ilang years ay na-realize nya na "baka" hindi naman siya na-rape; (b) ang panduduro at pagpapaluhod ni Boyet Fajardo sa isang empleyado ng Duty Free na sumunod lang naman sa SOP on credit card transactions, grrrr; (c) ang walang katapusan hidwaan ng Abu Sayyaf at ng militar at ang pag-kidnap nila sa ilang miyembro ng Red Cross, dalawa sa tatlo ay foreigner, na nakakaawa dahil sila pa na nagmamalasakit sa mga hindi naman nila kalahi ang napahamak; (d) si Chip Tsao at ang maaanghang nyang komento tungkol sa Pilipinas, sa mga Pinoy at sa claim ng China sa Spratleys; at (e) ang matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Earth Hour, kung saan nag-participate kami.

2. Maki-dance sa Summer Station ID ng ABS-CBN, super cute! Galaw-galaw sa tag-araw! (Binat ang aabutin ko dito...)

3. Magbasa (na naman) ng Pugad Baboy books. Nabasa ko na ulit ang Pugad Baboy 8-19, nasa 20 na ako ngayon. (Elay: Siguro di lang tig-te-ten times ko nabasa 'tong mga 'to 'no? Irvin: As in!) Magbasa ng ilang libro na matagal ng nasa akin pero hindi ko pa nabubuklat, hehehe!

4. Magpakaadik gaya ng Nanay ko sa Kapamilya teleserye - May Bukas Pa, I Love Betty La Fea at Tayong Dalawa. (In fact, kinareer ko ang reruns ng May Bukas Pa noong Holy Week at naiyak ako sa ilang mga episodes...i love Santino and Bro!) Manood ng DVDs at ilan sa mga nagustuhan ko these past few days ay Sex and the City (The Movie) at Death Race.

5. Mag-blog at mag-bloghop, mag-internet ng tsismis at song lyrics ni Michael Jackson na mine-memorize ko, mag-Facebook at makipag-chat.

Boring! Makatulog nga muna... :)

the weekend that was mar 28-29: overdue

Almost 3 weeks na since that unfortunate day, hindi pa din ako nakakarating sa ibang place except for Rosario to Tanza and vice versa. My TL reminded me about the computer-based training on information risk something, and the deadline is March 31. There is something wrong with the take-home laptop so I decided na pumunta na lang sa office. Manghihiram na lang kami ng car para hindi hassle.

Siyempre kahit ayaw pa ni Nanay na magbiyahe ako, natuloy pa din (sorry, Mother, tawag ng tungkulin!). Medyo excited din ako (hindi sa work ha). Around 11 AM, nasa office na ako. Ayan na, ginawa ko na 'yung training tapos naglipat pa ko ng mga gamit sa bagong issue na pedestal. Nag-delete ng emails, nag-sort ng scratch papers, nag-copy ng PSP games. Mga 1 PM na ako natapos, salamat kay God of War at sinamahan nya si Irvin. At salamat din kay Marie na hinatid ako at dinala ang mga gamit ko at nagpasabog ng sari-saring chika at nag-share ng sentiments tungkol sa hmm...hmm (pareho kami ng sentiments, actually).

Dumiretso kami sa Tagaytay, our happy place. Plan kasi ni Irvin na i-treat ako on my 2nd month of pregnancy kaya lang hindi na natuloy. Kaya eto, ngayon na lang kami nag-date. :)

We dined at Carlo's Pizza, tapos tumambay lang, tapos nag-Pink Sisters kami. Super happy.

Sunday. Nag-grocery kami nu'ng afternoon, na-miss ko din 'yun. Oo, pasaway na naman ako.
